We create and sell original home fragrance products and paper goods, designed with care and attention to detail.

We do our best to ensure all descriptions, images, and details are accurate. However, as many of our products are handcrafted or natural, there may be slight variations from time to time - we think this is part of their charm.

All products are subject to availability, and we reserve the right to withdraw or update items at any time.

4. Orders

When you place an order, you will receive an order confirmation email. This confirms that we have received your order, but it does not mean it has been accepted.

A contract is formed only when your order has been dispatched.

We reserve the right to refuse or cancel any order where necessary.

5. Pricing & Payment

All prices are in GBP (£) and include VAT where applicable.

Payment is taken at the point of purchase via Shopify Payments.

We reserve the right to update pricing at any time.

6. Delivery

Delivery area:

We currently deliver within the United Kingdom only.

Delivery Times:

Estimated delivery is 2–5 working days from dispatch.

While we always aim to meet these timeframes, they are estimates rather than guarantees.

Delivery charges are calculated at checkout.

Delivery Issues:

If your order arrives damaged, incomplete, or significantly delayed, please contact us as soon as possible so we can help.

7. Returns & Refunds

We hope you love your order, but if something isn’t quite right, we’re here to help. Please view the returns policy here.

Change of mind:

You may return unused and unopened items within 14 days of receiving your order.

To be eligible, goods must be unused and have all original packaging intact. The customer is responsible for packaging return parcels securely and appropriately to ensure goods arrive back undamaged and in resalable condition. Return shipping is at the customer's expense, and a tracked method is recommended; Cerita is not responsible for parcels lost in transit.

Items we can’t accept back:

For hygiene and safety reasons, we’re unable to accept returns on opened or used home fragrance products.

Faulty or incorrect items:

Each order is packed thoughtfully to ensure it arrives safely and correctly. In the rare case that something isn’t quite right, please get in touch as soon as possible to make it right.

This policy is in line with your rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 and the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013.

8. Product Care & Safety

Our products are designed to be enjoyed safely and responsibly.

Please always follow the care and usage instructions outlined for each item. Candles should never be left unattended and should be kept away from children and pets.

As our products contain essential oils, they may not be suitable for those with sensitivities. We recommend checking ingredients and using with care.

We cannot accept responsibility for misuse or failure to follow product guidance.

If you are purchasing as a business, you confirm that you are doing so in the course of trade.

Some consumer protections may not apply to business purchases. Risk in goods passes on delivery.

We may introduce separate trade terms, pricing, or minimum order quantities where appropriate.
